As the wool eventually decomposes, it releases nutrients back into the soil.
Important Note: To achieve optimal outcomes, ensure the removal of all weeds before placing the wool weed mats. Leaving the mats exposed may result in wind-blown seeds settling on top and sprouting, necessitating removal.
