For The Love of Wool 

When Anastasia Tristram put her Central Hawke’s Bay-based wool business “Floating Peaks” on the market, we decided to take the opportunity. Being a Hawke’s Bay-based sheep and beef farming family ourselves, who appreciate and value the benefits of wool, it really was a no-brainer in the end.

While it was important to us to put our own spin on it, regarding the look and name of the business, the values and core products remain.

Our sheep happily graze Hawke’s Bay hills year-round and provide the wool for most of our products.

We love that everything from growing the wool, to processing the raw material, to sewing the end-product is 100% based in New Zealand. We’re especially proud of our sewing team in Central Hawke’s Bay and the Wool Processing in Napier, keeping it all as close to the source as possible.

To be able to provide a biodegradable and sustainable option for gardeners, farmers and growers that aligns with our personal values is important to us.

Proudly farming Hawkes Bay

Our ewe wool is shorn on the farm, before heading to Napier to be washed. It then makes the journey to Auckland to be felted before making its way back to us inHawkes Bay.
